The Talking Stick magazine is the authoritative source for campus housing. And now it is available to all ACUHO-I members in a convenient and accessible digital format. ACUHO-I has issued a statement regarding the benefits of collaboration between residence life departments and faculty members when creating programs to complement a college or university's academic mission.

ACUHO-I has issued a press release commending the inclusion of a housing stipend in the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. Housing, on and off campus, is an important part of the higher education experience and the act provides veterans with educational assistance, which are payable after August 1, 2009. ACUHO-I has also written a white paper further supporting the act.

AASHE releases annual review of sustainability in higher education
The new, 230-page document offers a comprehensive review of campus sustainability efforts in 2007. The publication's 24 chapters includes 800 stories about how institutions are leading the charge toward a sustainable future, covering such topics as operations, research, education, finance, and administration.
